The terms and conditions outlined here are between you (“your” or “yourself” or “buyer”) and Tapioca Delight (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms govern the use of our website www.tapiocadelightpng.com. By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any policies, rules, or procedures referenced herein.
Please note that these Terms and Conditions may be updated or amended from time to time. It is your responsibility to review them each time you use our website. Continued use of our website signifies your acceptance of the latest Terms and Conditions.
PAYMENTS FOR ORDERS
- Full payment (100%) is required for all private orders at least 3–5 working days prior to the date of your event or party. Orders are not confirmed until full payment is received.
- Quotations and invoices generated through the website must be paid in full to confirm the order.
- Part-payments may be made in up to three installments, with the final payment due 3–5 days before your event date.
- Corporate clients must provide a Purchase Order or Official Letter guaranteeing payment at least 3–5 working days before the event. Payment is due within 7 days of invoicing.
- Payments can be made via:
- Our website using Visa, MasterCard, or Credit Card
- In person via cash, EFTPOS, Company Cheque, direct deposit, or electronic/mobile bank transfer
CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Notice may be given via email, phone, text, WhatsApp, or other forms of communication but must be confirmed in writing.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours cannot be accepted, as ingredient purchases and preparation will have begun. In such cases, payment for the services rendered remains due.
- No refunds are provided once an order is in production or underway.
- Payments received for unused services may be refunded or credited toward future orders.
- Refunds or exchanges for damaged or unsatisfactory products will be assessed case by case. Notification must be made within 24 hours of delivery or collection, along with supporting photographs if required.
- Refunds cannot be issued for items that have been consumed in full, and quality assessment remains at Tapioca Delight’s discretion.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
- Once products are delivered and a signature is received, Tapioca Delight is not liable for any damages thereafter.
- For self-collection, responsibility transfers to the buyer once goods leave our premises. The collection vehicle must have a clean, flat surface. We strongly recommend non-slip matting and slow driving to prevent damage.
- Weather conditions can affect products — especially in hot or humid temperatures. Extra care should be taken for cakes or perishable items.
- While we strive to meet all given time slots, delivery times are not guaranteed. Refunds are not available for delays; however, we will communicate any unforeseen issues and deliver your order as soon as possible.
MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE AND PRICES
- Product prices may change without prior notice.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any product, service, or feature at any time without notice. Tapioca Delight shall not be liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from such modifications.
PRODUCT IMAGES ON OUR WEBSITE
- Images displayed on the website serve as examples only.
- Actual products may vary slightly in design, color, or presentation due to the handmade nature of our goods.
ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please notify us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing and paying for an order. While we offer alternative options, our kitchen handles the following allergens and cannot guarantee allergen-free products:
- Nuts and nut by-products
- Eggs and egg by-products
- Milk and dairy products
- Cereals containing gluten
- Celery
- Crustaceans
- Fish
- Mustard
- Peanuts
- Sesame
- Soybeans
NON-EDIBLE CAKE DECORATIONS
Please note that some decorations are non-edible and must be removed before serving or consuming. These may include:
- Plastic dowels (in tiered cakes)
- Bamboo skewers or wires (for sugar flowers)
- Paper, plastic, metallic, or wooden toppers
CANCELLATION POLICY SUMMARY
- 48+ hours before event: Refund available, less administrative and handling fee
- Within 48 hours of event: Full charge applies
